What the label says, and what 5:1 means
The panel says a serving is 1 capsule and gives 1500mg of lion's mane; the ingredients line says lion's mane mushroom fruiting body extract, brown rice flour as a bulking agent, and a vegetable capsule shell of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. The listing states the extract is 5:1. A 5:1 extract means five grams of mushroom were concentrated into one gram of extract, so 1500mg of mushroom equivalent is about 300mg of extract in the capsule; the label prints the equivalent figure, which is the common convention. Two things the label does not print, and this site does not invent: a beta-glucan percentage and the extract weight itself.
Fruiting body matters. The mushroom itself, rather than mycelium grown on grain, is what the small human studies used, and a fruiting body extract is not diluted with the grain the mycelium grew on. Brown rice flour here is a bulking agent to fill the capsule, and it is listed, which is how it should be.

What lion's mane can and cannot say
Lion's mane has no authorised health claims in the UK, so no honest label or page says it improves focus, memory or mood. The research is small: Mori's 2009 trial in older Japanese adults with mild cognitive impairment used fruiting body tablets for 16 weeks and reported better cognitive scores that faded after stopping; Docherty's 2023 pilot in young adults reported a faster performance on one task after a single dose and lower subjective stress after 28 days, in 41 people. That is interesting and thin. The lion's mane section on this site describes those studies as studies and the product by its label numbers.
Testing, where it is made, and who it suits
Independently lab tested for purity, made in the UK under GMP and BRC certification; the label carries Futuro Lab Supplements Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. The capsule is HPMC, so the product is vegan; it is also listed as gluten free, dairy free and odour free, and the capsule is a size 00 at 21.6mm. Caffeine free, which matters for people using it around evening training.
How Ghost Fitness uses it
Lion's mane answers on this site quote this product as the 5:1 fruiting body one, 1 capsule, 13p a day, the 120-day bottle. It is the reference row in comparisons because the extract ratio and the fruiting body source are stated, which is the first thing to check on any mushroom label.
