It’s currently July 2016 and Pokemon Go is in full flow worldwide with millions of downloads all over the globe, and the app now hitting 75 million downloads worldwide. Today I’m going to take a look at the app in terms of the fitness and more specifically the cutting potential it has for individuals who want to lose weight.
If, like me – you enjoy going to the gym and eating well then bulking is relatively easy, you track your protein and calorie intake and the muscle growth usually comes quite fast and well, but when it comes to cutting season you are always behind? – Sound familiar?
Luckily PokemonGo has helped millions of people drop the fat and get that cardio in! The app has been a huge success and one of the reasons why is because of the fitness benefits associated.
If you don’t know already the app requires people to walk around their cities looking for Pokemon that may or may not appear near them. The more you walk the greater the chance of attracting Pokemon close to you. Without getting to specific into the app itself, essentially the further you walk, the better you will be at the game.
The Cardio Revolution
Cardio is something that everyone can get more of. Gym rats should always ensure they get enough cardio (and during cutting season doing those miles on the treadmill can be a bore) – Instead my one piece of advice would be to get addicted to this app. If you’re in the Pokemon generation of 1985-1995 then chances are you already are a keen player, but even if you haven’t even heard of a Pikachu I highly advise picking this up, it’s 100% free and will make you want to go outside and rack up those KMs.
